Workday Integration Consultant (Workday)

Location: 100% remote within the United States

Salary: $100,000–$150,000 annually

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain Workday integrations using EIB, Workday Studio, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, PECI, and Workday APIs.
• Build inbound and outbound integrations connecting Workday with payroll, benefits, IT provisioning, finance, analytics, and other enterprise systems.
• Develop maintainable XSLT transformations, calculated fields, custom reports, report-as-a-service integrations, and Workday business processes.
• Implement error handling, retry, notification, security, integration system user, ISSG, and tenant-level configurations.
• Plan tenant refreshes, release validation, regression testing, and production incident response.
• Collaborate with HR, payroll, IT, finance, product, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders; document solutions and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least five years of Workday integration development experience; the posting also lists 6+ years of experience.
• Deep expertise in EIB, Workday Studio, Core Connectors, XSLT, Workday REST/SOAP APIs, and Studio orchestrations.
• Strong understanding of the Workday data model, tenant configuration, security model, ISU/ISSG patterns, calculated fields, and custom reports.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States; new H-1B visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Workday Pro Integrations certification.
• Experience with PICOF, PECI, or Cloud Connect for Payroll.
• Familiarity with Workday Extend and multi-tenant or multi-region deployments.
• Experience integrating Workday with SaaS platforms such as ServiceNow and Salesforce.
