Senior Development Program Manager (Government Services & Solutions)

Location: Carlsbad, California; Duluth, Georgia; Reston, Virginia; or remote from California. U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a United States Secret Clearance are required.

Salary: $147,500–$233,000 annually. For specific work locations in San Jose, the San Francisco Bay Area, and the New York City metropolitan area: $183,000–$275,000 annually.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end execution of multiple internal development programs covering cost, schedule, technical performance, and risk.
• Coordinate Engineering, Operations, Cyber & Information Security, and Finance teams in a matrixed environment.
• Drive alignment and accountability among stakeholders who do not report directly to the role.
• Track program performance through metrics, milestones, and executive-level status reporting.
• Identify and resolve risks and opportunities while maintaining program commitments.
• Ensure development objectives, certifications, security requirements, compliance obligations, and the hirify.global VGate process are met.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 10+ years of multifaceted program or project management experience with responsibility for cost, schedule, technical performance, and risk.
• Experience leading large internal development programs involving software development, satellite networking, hub designs, terminals, antennas, or systems-of-systems.
• Experience with hybrid Agile and predictive project execution methodologies and reporting.
• Strong leadership, communication, influencing, negotiation, and executive presentation skills.
• U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a United States Secret Clearance are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with satellite communications, networking, terminals, or complex integrated systems.
• Background in government, defense, or other regulated environments.
• Experience with certifications, cybersecurity, and compliance requirements.
• Active DoD Clearance.
