Associate Scientist, Sample Logistics (Vaccine Research)

Location: On premise in Pearl River, New York, United States. Candidates must have permanent authorization to work in the United States. U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available. Relocation assistance may be available based on business needs and eligibility.

Annual base salary: $60,200–$100,400. Eligible for a 7.5% bonus target.

What you will do

• Receive samples from global clinical trials and enter them into an electronic database.
• Track and document sample chain of custody, storage, retrieval, distribution, and disposal.
• Perform manual and automated sample aliquoting using Hamilton robotic instruments.
• Ship samples and laboratory supplies to internal and external testing laboratories.
• Resolve shipment discrepancies and assist with Hamilton instrument maintenance.
• Complete, archive, and maintain documentation in accordance with applicable procedures and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in a relevant scientific discipline.
• 0–3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
• Ability to work in a laboratory environment for most of the workday and handle various bodily fluids.
• Ability to lift racks and boxes weighing up to 10 pounds.
