Audit Manager (Healthcare)

Location: Remote, but must be based in California; client and prospect engagement occurs across the state.

Salary: $97,000–$150,000 per year, plus potential annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Manage audit, review, and compilation engagements for healthcare and senior living clients.
• Lead multiple engagement teams and provide performance feedback after engagements conclude.
• Oversee staffing, planning, budgeting, risk assessment, fieldwork, financial reporting, and engagement conclusions.
• Partner with Senior Managers, Directors, and Partners on audit procedures, risk assessment, and reporting.
• Research complex accounting matters and communicate guidance on transactions, GAAP compliance, and FASB Accounting Standard Updates.
• Contribute to firm training, community activities, networking, and business development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• CPA certification required.
• At least five years of related experience in public accounting.
• Prior supervisory experience.
• Construction industry experience in private and/or public settings is required as stated in the posting.
• Must be based in California and comfortable working with clients and prospects across the state.

Nice to have

• CCIFP certification.
• Experience serving senior living organizations, including skilled nursing, assisted living, continuing care retirement, home health, hospice, and independent living providers.
