Internal Auditor (Financial Services)

Salary: $71,090–$118,500 annual base salary

What you will do

• Assist with planning and executing audits across investment management lines of business and functions.
• Prepare audit programs, working papers, analyses, and conclusions.
• Test key internal controls and use computer-assisted auditing tools to assess control effectiveness.
• Identify exceptions, analyze root causes, and recommend practical improvements to controls and operational efficiency.
• Communicate audit results and risk concerns to supervisors and business management.
• Participate in special projects, recruiting efforts, process improvements, and occasional supervision of Associate Auditors.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in auditing or a relevant business area.
• Bachelor’s degree with a major, minor, or emphasis in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• Basic knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls, business processes, and IIA standards.
• Basic understanding of accounting and financial, insurance, market, credit, IT, and compliance risks.
• Analytical, problem-solving, communication, teamwork, time-management, and independent working skills.
• Ability to adapt, learn continuously, identify issues, and recommend improvements.
