Manager, Workplace

Location: New York City office, New York, NY; remote coordination with the Washington, DC office.

Salary: $100,000–$115,000 USD per year.

What you will do

• Oversee daily workplace operations and maintain a functional, welcoming, and productive New York office.
• Manage full-time, temporary, and contract workplace staff, including scheduling, timesheets, and daily work direction.
• Coordinate employees, vendors, building management, Finance, and internal partners to keep workplace services running smoothly.
• Manage workplace budgets, purchase orders, invoices, vendor payments, and service-provider relationships.
• Maintain building access, safety protocols, compliance processes, and incident-response coordination.
• Lead office moves, space reconfigurations, vendor implementations, and other operational improvement projects.

Requirements

• Experience managing people, including direct reports or contract staff.
• Experience in office operations, workplace management, facilities, or a related field.
• Strong operational, organizational, communication, and prioritization skills.
• Experience managing budgets, invoices, vendors, and workplace operations in a professional setting.
• Sound judgment and discretion when handling safety, compliance, and sensitive workplace issues.
• Comfort learning and adopting new technologies, including AI tools, to improve operational efficiency.
