Salary: Approximately $9,451.94 per month, with an average annual salary of $113,423.

What you will do
- Install, repair, adjust, test, and maintain telecommunications equipment, including radios, digital microwave systems, and RF data links.
- Maintain wired and wireless communication systems, IP networks, VoIP equipment, cameras, and voice and data communication devices.
- Work with automatic equipment identification systems, front and end train devices, and railroad communication equipment.
- Perform soldering and repair of electrical and electronic components.
- Work a 40-hour schedule across six days, including one on-call day, with possible overtime, nights, weekends, holidays, and alternate shifts.
- Complete company-paid classroom and on-the-job training, including travel to the BNSF Training Center.
Requirements
- Must be able to report to the designated U.S. work location; visa or employment authorization sponsorship is not available.
- At least two years of verifiable electronics experience or post-high-school training.
- Experience with soldering, electrical diagrams, schematics, and hand tools.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English; lift and carry up to 50 pounds; climb equipment; and occasionally work on locomotives and other equipment.
- Valid state-issued driver's license and ability to meet travel, shift, safety, and working-condition requirements.
- Successful completion of fall-protection training and the Electronic Technician II qualification test with a score of at least 80%.
