Technical Program Manager (AI/ML)

Location: Toronto, ON, Canada. The role may require in-person onboarding and/or in-person identity verification.

Salary: CAD 95,000–138,600 base annually for Canada-based roles. Offers may exceed this range based on experience and geographic location; bonuses, stock grants, and benefits may also be included.

What you will do

• Drive end-to-end delivery of Generative AI Accelerator outcomes from experimentation through production readiness and adoption.
• Build integrated delivery plans across research and engineering teams, including milestones, dependencies, forecasts, and risk management.
• Coordinate delivery across research, engineering, architecture, data, security, legal, product, and platform teams.
• Partner with executive stakeholders, architects, and product leaders on strategy, sequencing, execution plans, and business outcomes.
• Provide status reporting, resolve impediments and dependencies, and manage risks, trade-offs, and mitigation strategies.
• Promote Agile and Lean practices and use approved AI tools and automation to improve delivery visibility and repeatability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, business administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years delivering complex, cross-team initiatives in fast-paced technical environments.
• 3+ years in a Technical Program Manager, Product Manager, Software Architect, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms and distributed systems, including APIs and services on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Working knowledge of AI/ML concepts, software development lifecycles, and AI-assisted delivery tools.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and outcome-oriented execution skills.

Nice to have

• Experience delivering AI/ML, generative AI, data platform, or research-to-production programs.
• Familiarity with model training and evaluation, inference and serving, retrieval, and vector databases.
• Knowledge of Responsible AI, data governance, privacy, and compliance.
• Experience with operational excellence, process improvement, and scalable delivery practices.
