Finance Assistant (Accounts Payable) (Finance)

Salary: £30,000–£35,000 per annum

What you will do

• Process supplier invoices, employee expenses, company card transactions, and customer receipts accurately.
• Reconcile supplier accounts and bank transactions, investigate discrepancies, and resolve outstanding issues with suppliers.
• Support supplier payment runs and maintain accurate financial records and controls.
• Prepare financial information and supporting data for reporting.
• Analyse budget variances and identify trends, risks, and areas requiring investigation.
• Support month-end, year-end, audit, and wider finance activities.

Requirements

• Previous experience in finance, accounts payable, or transactional finance.
• Experience processing invoices and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and finance systems.
• Availability to start immediately.
