PX Technology Operations Manager (Workday)

Location: US-Remote, Illinois (Chicago area); travel requirement: 0–10%

Salary: $99,600–$137,000 per year; bonus eligible

What you will do

• Lead governance and audit compliance for the Workday platform.
• Run weekly Change Control Board meetings and oversee release management and tenant refresh strategies.
• Drive global Workday feature adoption, platform modernization, and strategic roadmap execution.
• Act as the cross-functional liaison between People Experience, IS, Finance, and Audit.
• Manage platform controls, risks, and initiatives supporting a secure and high-performing HR technology environment.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in HRIS or Workday environments with SOX audit controls or IT risk management frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of Workday release management cycles, security role design, and system integrations.
• Experience executing IT General Controls and managing audit compliance processes.
• Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder influence skills.
• Ability to work remotely from the United States, specifically the Illinois/Chicago area.

Nice to have

• Workday certification in administration, security, or governance.
• Experience managing complex cross-functional module deployments or enterprise-wide HR technology implementations.
