Spring 2027: Public Policy Intern, Global Corporate Affairs and Public Policy (Fintech)

Location: Washington, DC, United States. Candidates must be located in Washington, DC for the full duration of the internship.

Salary: $40–$55 per hour in Washington, DC, depending on education, experience, and location.

What you will do

• Research legislation and analyze its impact on hirify.global and its customers.
• Draft policy memos, summaries, briefing materials, and content about emerging issues.
• Support government relations and public advocacy efforts.
• Attend legislative hearings, meetings, public events, and engagements with partners, trade associations, and consultants.
• Contribute to key public policy priorities and special initiatives within the U.S. Federal team.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program with an expected graduation date after the internship ends.
• Master’s degree enrollment is strongly preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication, research, analytical, collaboration, prioritization, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Interest in public policy, particularly fintech, AI, and technology policy.
• Moderate to advanced proficiency with technology, including AI and SaaS applications.
• Experience in the technology industry or public office is valued.
