Sr. AI Strategy and Operations Analyst

Location: Toronto, Canada

Salary: $150,000–$200,000 CAD per year base pay range; total compensation may also include equity, incentives, dental, vision, and other benefits.

What you will do

• Define and execute AI adoption roadmaps across Finance, Legal, HR, and other business functions.
• Identify operational use cases and convert manual workflows into scalable AI-enabled processes and reusable automation patterns.
• Build monitoring and alerting for AI-powered data pipelines, integrations, and automations.
• Operate an internal AI skills and automation program, including onboarding, approvals, governance reviews, and adoption tracking.
• Build reusable AI skills, tools, workflows, and integrations across APIs, databases, spreadsheets, cloud platforms, and enterprise systems.
• Partner with IT, Security, Engineering, Data, and business teams to establish infrastructure, permissions, identity, service accounts, and security controls.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of relevant experience in business operations, strategy, data, automation, engineering, AI, consulting, or a related technical or operational role.
• Experience independently driving cross-functional technology, automation, data, or AI initiatives from problem definition through implementation and adoption.
• Strong working knowledge of Python and SQL.
• Experience working with APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, identity systems, Git-based workflows, automation platforms, and enterprise integrations.
• Ability to translate ambiguous operational problems into scalable, reliable, secure, measurable, and reusable technical solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative or technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience building AI workflows, agentic systems, reusable skills, automation loops, or autonomous workflows.
• Experience with GCP, AWS, or Azure; Git or GitHub; enterprise identity and access-management systems; and AI governance or workflow evaluation.
• Experience in business operations, consulting, strategy and operations, analytics, technical program management, automation, or internal tooling.
• Experience working in a fast-paced technology company or similarly high-ownership environment.
