Manufacturing Line Technician (FMCG)

Location: Reading, United Kingdom; onsite at P&G's Reading Plant

Salary: From £590.96 per week plus an 18% shift premium

Manufactures fast-moving consumer goods and produces Gillette and Old Spice products at the Reading plant.

What you will do

• Move and manage materials within the manufacturing operation.
• Operate, clean, and maintain production equipment to the required standards.
• Own line and area standards during shifts and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
• Investigate and resolve production and equipment-related issues.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and provide thorough handovers between shifts.

Requirements

• Practical operational experience and the ability to understand and address production and equipment issues.
• Strong personal accountability and ownership of results.
• Interest in improving equipment reliability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to follow processes and standards with a strong focus on health and safety.
• Willingness to work a rotating 4/3/3/3 shift pattern, including weekly rotation between days and nights.
