Complex Health Clinical Faculty (PT)

Location: In-person clinical teaching at an inpatient healthcare setting in the Albuquerque, New Mexico area, USA

Compensation: $1,120–$7,245 per assignment, depending on education, experience, course type, licensure, certifications, location, and other job-related factors.

What you will do

• Teach and supervise BSN nursing students during inpatient clinical experiences focused on complex adult health and critical care.
• Plan clinical assignments and connect classroom and simulation learning with real-world patient care.
• Evaluate student performance, provide documented feedback, and support remediation when needed.
• Coordinate with clinical-site personnel regarding policies, procedures, expectations, and student or agency concerns.
• Support curriculum implementation, assessment activities, retention efforts, and college development.
• Serve as a professional role model and collaborate with administrators, staff, faculty, and healthcare personnel.

Requirements

• Master's or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Unencumbered professional RN nursing license in New Mexico.
• Illinois RN license is required to teach all courses; assignments are prioritized for professors who already hold this license.
• Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Military Training Network.
• At least two years of professional registered nursing experience within the last five years in the area of instruction.
• Teaching experience is not required; strong clinical experience is encouraged.
