Associate Localisation Coordinator (Video Games)

Location: Sofia, Bulgaria; hybrid work with 3 days per week in the studio

What you will do

• Coordinate localisation activities across multiple Total War projects, tracking schedules, budgets, milestones, and quality standards.
• Communicate localisation plans, timelines, risks, and delivery impacts to project stakeholders.
• Organise kick-off meetings, project reviews, post-mortems, and other localisation discussions.
• Prepare text files and project information for translation, coordinate external localisation teams, and manage translator queries.
• Import completed translations into the game, implement subtitles and text updates, and support regression testing.
• Investigate, triage, and resolve localisation issues while improving localisation workflows and product quality.

Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Experience in localisation, quality assurance, project coordination, or a similar environment.
• Strong organisation, attention to detail, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn new tools and systems and work effectively independently and in a team.
• Good understanding of modern production workflows and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Interest in video games and the games industry.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting localisation for shipped AAA game titles.
• Experience using JIRA and Confluence.
• Knowledge of the Total War franchise.
• Experience with translation management, localisation workflows, or localisation testing.
