Team Lead, Language Services (Life Sciences Localization)

Location: Home or office based in the UK, Poland, Czechia or Spain; listed locations include Prague, Warsaw, Barcelona, Madrid, Reading, Gdańsk and Swansea.

What you will do

• Oversee a functional team of language-services project and operations staff, including resourcing, onboarding, performance development and recognition.
• Ensure high-quality, compliant delivery of localization and language services across pharmaceutical, clinical-trial and biotech projects.
• Coach team members and develop best-practice materials, process guides and training tools.
• Manage complex or strategic projects, identify risks, support proposals and act as a senior escalation point.
• Lead or contribute to quality investigations, root cause analysis and CAPA implementation.
• Support strategic client relationships, client retention, sales initiatives and continuous operational improvement.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in translation, localization or language-services project management, including mentoring or team coordination.
• Strong expertise in Life Sciences translation, including pharmaceutical, clinical-trial or biotech content.
• Understanding of localization workflows, quality management practices and standards such as GxP and ISO.
• Experience with quality investigations, root cause analysis and CAPA implementation in localization.
• Advanced proficiency with CAT tools, TMS platforms and structured content formats such as XML and PDF.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder-management and organisational skills, with the ability to work in a deadline-driven regulated environment.
