Principal TPM Release & Change Lead (Firmware)

What you will do

• Lead firmware, BIOS, and BMC release planning across complex hardware development programs.
• Establish and manage change control processes for firmware, hardware, and validation changes.
• Coordinate engineering, firmware, BIOS, BMC, hardware, validation, manufacturing, supply chain, and operations teams.
• Manage release governance through readiness reviews, milestone tracking, risk management, and executive reporting.
• Drive issue resolution, dependency management, and alignment between product development, validation, qualification, and deployment.
• Improve release predictability and execution efficiency through scalable processes, metrics, and tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field; an advanced degree is preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Engineering Program Management, or related leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of firmware, BIOS, BMC, embedded systems, server platforms, and hardware product development lifecycles.
• Experience managing complex cross-functional programs involving hardware, firmware, validation, and manufacturing.
• Deep knowledge of release management, change control, configuration management, and product lifecycle processes.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, and stage-gate development frameworks, plus strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience with product launches, platform validation, qualification, and deployment readiness activities.
