Substation Master Data Integrity Advisor

Location: Hybrid role based at an SCE facility in Pomona, California; employees must work and reside in California. The position requires reporting to the facility for a set number of days, with remote work available on the remaining days.

Salary: $129,200–$193,700 annually.

What you will do

• Lead programs, continuous improvement initiatives, and data governance activities for substation asset data.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements and translate business questions into analytical queries.
• Analyze large datasets related to substation package intake and processing to identify trends and develop insights.
• Develop processes that improve productivity, reduce system-failure risk, and support operational performance targets.
• Update technical manuals and contribute to technical delivery policies, standards, documentation, product design, and upgrades.
• Lead high-impact projects, develop recommendations, and provide consulting on cross-organizational technical issues.

Requirements

• Seven or more years of experience providing technical support.
• Experience defining data requirements and building analytical queries.
• Valid Class C driver’s license.
• Experience with asset data, maintenance plans, work orders, or repair notifications for substation or high-voltage electrical equipment.
• Experience with asset data in SAP and Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and scripting.
• Must work and reside in California and report to an SCE facility under the hybrid work arrangement.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics, Information Management, or a related field.
• Experience with Power BI, SAS Analytics and Programming, or Lean Six Sigma.
• Ability to build relationships with office-based and field-based colleagues.
