Manager, Data Reporting

Salary: $70,000–$130,000 USD annually in Colorado; $115,000–$155,000 USD annually in Massachusetts

What you will do

• Lead a Transfer Agency data reporting team and deliver accurate, timely reporting to internal stakeholders and external clients.
• Build and maintain advanced Excel data models, dashboards, KPIs, calculated columns, and DAX measures.
• Use Power Query to extract, transform, consolidate, and refresh data from databases, flat files, APIs, and other systems.
• Automate manual reporting and business processes through Excel-based tools, standardized templates, and reporting frameworks.
• Perform trend, variance, and ad hoc analyses to support business decisions.
• Improve data quality, governance, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Information Systems, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of advanced Excel data reporting and data modeling experience.
• Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Power Pivot, Power Query, data modeling, advanced functions, and complex formulas.
• Experience developing DAX formulas, measures, calculated columns, optimized Excel models, dashboards, and linked datasets.
• Experience building complex financial or operational models and integrating multiple data sources.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement from one of the listed United States locations.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of SQL, including joins, aggregations, and query optimization.
• Experience with VBA, macros, Office Scripts, Power BI, or large datasets.
• Familiarity with data warehousing and relational database structures.
• Experience in finance, fund accounting, banking operations, or investment management.
• Understanding of data quality management, reconciliation processes, and audit controls.
