What you will do
- Lead a Transfer Agency data reporting team serving internal stakeholders and external clients.
- Build and maintain advanced Excel data models with Power Pivot, Power Query, DAX, calculated columns, and KPIs.
- Create interactive dashboards, executive reports, standardized templates, and reporting frameworks.
- Automate manual reporting and business processes while improving accuracy, efficiency, and risk controls.
- Integrate data from databases, flat files, APIs, and other systems.
- Perform trend, variance, and ad hoc analyses and translate data into business insights.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Information Systems, a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of advanced Excel data reporting and data modeling experience.
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Power Pivot, Power Query, data modeling, and complex formulas.
- Experience developing DAX formulas, measures, calculated columns, and optimized Excel models.
- Experience building financial or operational models with linked datasets, dashboards, and reporting outputs.
- Background in data validation, governance, reconciliation, or audit controls.
Nice to have
- Working knowledge of SQL, including joins, aggregations, and query optimization.
- Experience with VBA, macros, or Office Scripts.
- Experience with Power BI and enterprise business intelligence solutions.
- Experience with large datasets, data warehousing, and relational databases.
- Experience supporting finance, fund accounting, banking operations, or investment management.
