Web Scraping Engineer (Python/Go)

Location: Vilnius, Lithuania; hybrid workplace

Gross salary: €4,400–€7,000 per month, with flexibility based on skills and competencies.

What you will do

• Design and build high-scale crawlers, scrapers, parsers, and supporting infrastructure handling thousands to millions of requests.
• Own client projects end to end, translating requirements into custom scraping solutions built from scratch.
• Develop functional and reusable code in Python or Go, using AI-driven development tools to improve delivery speed.
• Work with the data platform to build and deliver large datasets.
• Use internal scraping tools or create new tools as priorities and client routes change.
• Justify technical decisions, conduct code reviews, and collaborate on reliable solutions.

Requirements

• Multiple years of backend development experience with Python or Go, or strong web scraping experience supported by AI tools.
• Knowledge of web scraping fundamentals, parsing, headless browsers, and databases such as PostgreSQL or BigQuery.
• Ability to work independently, align on an approach, and take full ownership of delivery.
• Business-first mindset focused on speed and delivery, with comfort receiving direct feedback.
• Hands-on experience with AI-driven development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Antigravity.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup in Vilnius, Lithuania.

Nice to have

• Data engineering experience with ETL/ELT pipelines, Spark, Airflow, or Dagster.
