ERP/SAP Solution Architect (SAP S/4HANA)

Location: Madrid, Spain; in-office attendance twice a week. The posting also lists Valencia.

What you will do

• Design maintainable, scalable solutions within complex SAP S/4HANA enterprise landscapes.
• Define data structures, integration solutions, and middleware patterns with development teams.
• Assess business requirements and translate Asset Management, Leasing, and Investment Management needs into SAP solutions.
• Guide developers and consultants, participate in design reviews, and promote clean-code and engineering practices.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, Value Stream Leads, and Product Owners in an agile environment.
• Shape technology roadmaps while ensuring security, data quality, audit readiness, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience as a Solution Architect or in a comparable senior technical or leadership role.
• Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA, enterprise integration, middleware patterns, and complex SAP landscapes.
• Knowledge of Asset Management, Leasing, and Investment Management processes.
• Experience with Agile and SAFe methodologies, Jira, and ServiceNow.
• Fluent business English and residence in Madrid are required; office attendance is required twice a week.

Nice to have

• Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or biotech environments.
• Knowledge of GxP, Computer System Validation, GDPR, FDA, and EMA requirements.
