Senior Manager, Technical Operations Strategy (Biotech)

Location: Hybrid role based out of the Bridgewater, New Jersey office, with remote work available most of the time and in-person collaboration as needed. Occasional domestic and international travel of approximately 15–20% is required.

Salary: $124,000–$161,000 annual.

What you will do

• Define and advance strategic priorities across Technical Operations, manufacturing, supply chain, and Product Development.
• Evaluate manufacturing network scenarios, site and supplier options, and internal versus external manufacturing trade-offs.
• Assess supply risks across the portfolio and develop mitigation strategies and continuity plans.
• Support CMC strategy, commercial readiness, and launch planning across small-molecule, large-molecule, and gene therapy programs.
• Build analytical models, dynamic dashboards, and live data integrations for supply risk and portfolio decision-making.
• Prepare concise recommendations for leadership and collaborate with Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, Commercial, Supply Chain, and external partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in strategy, business operations, project management, supply chain, or analytics within pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences organizations.
• Strong analytical, structured problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and operate in an environment without established infrastructure.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement from the Bridgewater, New Jersey office and travel approximately 15–20%.

Nice to have

• 7+ years of experience in strategy, consulting, business operations, pharma, or biotech.
• Experience with supply chain risk, business continuity, manufacturing network strategy, or regulated launch planning.
• Experience supporting portfolios with shared dependencies, including gene therapy programs.
• Process improvement, operational excellence, Six Sigma, Green Belt, or Black Belt experience.
• PMP or equivalent project management experience.
