AOCS/GNC Analyst (Space)

Location: Stevenage, United Kingdom; hybrid working with flexible hours around core hours.

What you will do

• Contribute to AOCS/GNC design, implementation, verification, and validation across mission phases 0 to E.
• Work on satellite projects including ARIEL, Vigil, Aeolus-2, and FORUM.
• Produce design justifications, software requirements, performance analyses, and related technical documentation.
• Develop prototype-level non-real-time and real-time simulators using C, MATLAB, or Python.
• Support customer, partner, and stakeholder reviews and workshops.
• Collaborate with an experienced AOCS/GNC team and adjacent rover teams.

Requirements

• Professional or early-career experience with GNC or AOCS for space applications.
• Experience with at least one of MATLAB, C, C++, or Python.
• Experience with modeling and simulation software such as Simulink, Altair Activate, OpenModelica, Scilab/Xcos, Collimator, or Pictorus.
• Willingness to learn and use Simulink regularly.
• Ability to build positive working relationships, exchange feedback, and contribute to a collaborative environment.
• Successful applicants will be subject to a BPSS check, including a criminal record check.
