Student Placement - Information Technology

Location: hirify.global manufacturing site in Cramlington, Northumberland, United Kingdom. This is an onsite, full-time 12-month placement beginning in August 2027. No relocation is provided.

What you will do

• Support the implementation, development, integration, and deployment of IT systems across the business.
• Contribute to projects involving digital innovation, manufacturing automation, lab systems, infrastructure, and networks.
• Lead individual projects with guidance from the technology team.
• Analyse and visualise production-critical data to support business decisions.
• Maintain and improve existing systems through change management and stakeholder collaboration.
• Troubleshoot issues and contribute to continuous improvement in an Agile environment.

Requirements

• Currently studying for a degree in IT or a related field.
• Entering the third or penultimate year of study and returning to education after the placement.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Detail-oriented, organised, and able to meet deadlines.
• Ability to follow corporate and regulatory IT standards, including GMP, and use a System Development Life Cycle.
