TL;DR

Focus on prioritizing changing patient-care needs, reporting condition changes, and maintaining efficient overnight workflow across three 12-hour shifts.

Location: 300 Randall Rd., Geneva, Illinois, United States. Onsite night shift: three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., every other weekend and rotating holidays.

Salary: USD 17.05–23.02 per hour.

What you will do

  • Perform basic nursing care under the supervision of an RN, including monitoring vital signs, measuring blood glucose, and recording intake and output.
  • Assist patients with bathing, grooming, eating, and other activities of daily living.
  • Report abnormal findings and changes in patients’ physical, mental, and emotional conditions.
  • Maintain clean and orderly patient rooms and support unit workflow.
  • Answer calls and coordinate information between patients, families, nursing staff, and related departments.
  • Validate admission, discharge, and census lists and support pre-census activities as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, or Emergency Medical Technician, or completion of one semester of clinical nursing school.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, communicate effectively, and work under stressful conditions.
  • Successful completion of a background check is required for new hires.

Nice to have

  • Phlebotomy experience.
  • Graduation from an accredited Nursing Assistant program or phlebotomy course.
