Assistant Area Manager (Hospitality)

Location: On-site in Mooresville, North Carolina, United States; must reside within a short drive of the designated vacation rental properties and travel frequently between sites.

Salary: USD 50,000–50,001 per year, plus a performance bonus.

What you will do

• Support the Area Manager with daily operations across hirify.global properties in the designated market.
• Act as a local point of contact for property owners, communicate with them, and review owner distribution statements.
• Audit properties, conduct inspections, maintain inventory levels, and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Coordinate housekeeping and routine rental maintenance, including linens, furniture, lighting, cable, and Wi-Fi issues.
• Monitor and resolve guest and homeowner concerns through email, calls, texts, Slack, and support tickets.
• Train, coach, and evaluate field operations personnel and participate in rotating after-hours on-call support.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hospitality or customer-facing experience.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Must reside in the designated area and be able to spend most working time standing, walking, and driving between properties.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays with a flexible schedule.
• Valid driver's license, active car insurance, and a reliable snow-ready car.
• Ability to perform physical duties including bending, squatting, kneeling, climbing, carrying, reaching, stooping, and occasionally lifting more than 25 pounds.
