HRIS Manager (Workday)

Location: EDS Troy Corporate Offices, Troy, Michigan, USA. Local residence in Metro Detroit or ability to relocate is required. International travel is required, along with a valid U.S. passport.

What you will do

• Own the global HR system landscape, starting with Workday and expanding into case management and frontline kiosk tools.
• Translate process-owner and business requirements into prioritized system configuration.
• Establish a transparent service delivery structure for request intake, prioritization, status tracking, and releases.
• Maintain a controlled change backlog and coordinate code and interface handoffs to IT.
• Ensure system stability, releases, user support, and configuration maintenance across the landscape.
• Oversee vendors and managed services while building a specialist systems team in Pune.

Requirements

• About 8+ years of experience in HRIS or Workday roles, including several years configuring and operating Workday globally.
• Workday certifications and strong hands-on system product-ownership experience.
• Experience with service management or ticketing, request intake, prioritization, and transparent status reporting.
• Experience with carve-outs or tenant separation, case management, and frontline or kiosk tools.
• Experience growing a systems team and managing work across time zones.
• Must be a local resident of Metro Detroit or able to relocate; a valid U.S. passport and international travel availability are required.
