Working Student (f/m/d) - Internal Communication for System Innovation

What you will do

• Create and edit internal social media posts about project results, demonstrators, events, milestones and team activities.
• Translate technical information from engineers and project teams into clear, engaging content for non-technical and mixed internal audiences.
• Conduct short interviews and gather input from project contributors to identify key messages and stories.
• Adapt content for different internal communication formats, audiences and levels of technical detail.
• Support simple visuals, image selection, headlines and short-form copy.
• Maintain communication overviews, coordinate content with project timelines, and review materials for clarity, consistency, tone and accuracy.

Requirements

• Enrollment in communications, media studies, journalism, marketing, business, technical communication or a comparable field.
• Strong writing skills and the ability to explain complex topics in a structured and accessible way.
• Initial experience creating written or visual content through university projects, student initiatives, internships, personal projects or social media.
• Interest in technology and motivation to understand technical projects before communicating them.
• Reliability, organization, attention to detail and willingness to learn from feedback.
• Very good English writing and communication skills are required; German is beneficial.

Nice to have

• Basic experience with Microsoft 365 and simple visual content tools.
• Interest in developing suitable activities into a thesis topic.
