Assistant Area Manager (Short-Term Rentals)

Location: Panama City Beach, Florida, United States; on-site and within a short drive of the vacation rental properties

Salary: USD 60,000–64,000 per year plus performance bonus

What you will do

• Support the Area Manager with daily operations across hirify.global properties in the designated market.
• Act as a point of contact for property owners, review distribution statements, and coordinate communication with internal departments.
• Monitor guest and homeowner issues, inspect resolution quality, and maintain owner and guest satisfaction standards.
• Train, coach, and evaluate field operations personnel while covering market leadership duties when required.
• Coordinate housekeeping, routine maintenance, property inspections, supplies, linens, and quality assurance activities.
• Travel frequently between properties, participate in rotating after-hours on-call support, and respond through email, phone, text, Slack, and tickets.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of hospitality or customer-facing experience.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Valid driver’s license and a reliable snow-ready car.
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, flexible schedules, and rotating after-hours on-call shifts.
• Ability to spend most working time standing, walking, and driving; regularly bend, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, stoop, and occasionally lift more than 25 pounds.
• Must reside within a short drive of the vacation rental properties and maintain an in-market presence.
