What you will do

  • Develop and execute purchasing strategies for raw materials, components, equipment, supplies, and services used in orthopedic hip, knee, and shoulder implants.
  • Plan requirements, forecast demand, optimize inventory, and ensure timely deliveries within budget and standard costs.
  • Identify suppliers and manage supplier relationships to improve reliability, quality, and cost efficiency.
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with FDA, ISO, healthcare, and internal regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, operations, R&D, sourcing, finance, and quality teams on product development and launches.
  • Track KPIs, cost savings, supplier performance, purchasing records, and reports using ERP systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of purchasing experience in medical device manufacturing or high-tech industries.
  • Strong knowledge of FDA, ISO, and healthcare compliance standards.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Must already have full-time work authorization in the United States without requiring current or future visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • CPSM or CPM certification.
  • Familiarity with orthopedic implant materials such as titanium and cobalt-chrome alloys.
  • Interest in innovation and continuous improvement.
