Senior Data Analyst (Microsoft Fabric)

Location: Mainly remote, with occasional attendance at the Central London office and other UK sites for meetings, workshops and collaborative work.

Salary: £50,000–£53,000 per annum

An established UK organisation is strengthening its Data and Insights function and improving how information is captured, governed and used across the business.

What you will do

• Help shape and deliver the wider data and insight roadmap.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand operational challenges and reporting needs.
• Create dashboards, reports and semantic models using Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
• Build reliable data ingestion, transformation and integration processes across Microsoft and third-party platforms.
• Define shared metrics, terminology, quality standards and governance practices.
• Lead discovery sessions, workshops and training for technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

• Experience as a Senior Data Analyst, Data Strategist, BI Analyst or in a comparable role.
• Strong practical knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and Power BI, including DAX, data modelling and dashboard design.
• Experience working with Dynamics 365 and Dataverse data.
• Understanding of semantic models, data lineage, data quality management and governance.
• Experience designing solutions covering ingestion, transformation, modelling and reporting.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to translate business questions into effective data products.

Nice to have

• Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate, Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate or Azure Data Engineer Associate certification.
• Experience with R, RStudio, Microsoft Customer Voice, Power Platform or Dataverse architecture.
• Experience in a charity or purpose-led organisation.
• Knowledge of Agile delivery, GDPR and data-protection responsibilities.
• Experience delivering workshops, presentations or user training.
