TL;DR
Analytics & Reporting Lead (SQL/Python/Qlik): Developing strategic customer, market, and commercial insights and automated reporting solutions with an accent on customer behaviour, portfolio performance, and data-driven decision-making. Focus on building segmentation and forecasting approaches, translating complex analysis into executive narratives, and coaching analysts while maintaining rigorous data governance.
Location: Newbury, United Kingdom; hybrid with office attendance 2–3 days per week and at least 8 days per month

What you will do
- Develop strategic insights on customer, market, portfolio, and commercial performance.
- Create analyses that identify opportunities, risks, emerging trends, and customer behaviour changes.
- Design and deliver automated reporting solutions using Qlik and other data visualisation tools.
- Build customer segmentation and profiling approaches to support customer value, innovation, and retention.
- Present clear recommendations and insight materials to senior leaders and partner with commercial, finance, analytics, research, and operational teams.
- Coach analysts and support analytics strategy, reporting roadmaps, data quality, governance, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in analytics, customer insight, market intelligence, commercial strategy, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and commercial judgement, with experience influencing decisions and shaping business strategy.
- Understanding of customer behaviour, lifecycle value, commercial performance drivers, or subscription-based business models.
- Demonstrable knowledge of SQL and SAS, including statistical analysis and work with large datasets.
- Experience using Python for analytics, modelling, or machine learning applications.
- Experience with Qlik, Power BI, or Tableau for communicating insights effectively.
Nice to have
- Experience with Alteryx and Snowflake.
