Remote Helpdesk Support Technician (Active Directory)

Location: Remote, associated with Raleigh, NC; shifts require Monday–Friday coverage during 8am–5pm EST, 9am–6pm EST, or 2pm–11pm EST

Salary: $50,000–$55,000 per year

What you will do

• Serve as the first point of contact for customer IT issues and provide phone-based troubleshooting.
• Document problems, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Troubleshoot and replace failed desktop and laptop components, including motherboards, network cards, video cards, monitors, and keyboards.
• Troubleshoot printers, scanners, wireless connections, switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Resolve customer issues rapidly while strengthening client relationships.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in an IT helpdesk or desktop support role.
• IT certifications or technical education.
• Experience with Windows Active Directory domains.
• Strong experience using ticketing systems.
• Expertise troubleshooting network and local printers, scanners, and wireless connections.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server products and Microsoft Exchange Server.
