Location: Dublin, Ireland; Johannesburg, South Africa; or Livingston, United Kingdom. Remote or office working available.

What you will do
- Contribute to analytics, reporting, metrics, and business intelligence strategy.
- Develop custom data models, algorithms, and machine learning solutions for business and scientific use cases.
- Coordinate with functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes, performance, and data accuracy.
- Apply statistical and analytical methods to large datasets using tools such as Spotfire and modern data platforms.
- Partner with stakeholders and customer groups to identify data-driven opportunities and define modelling requirements.
- Build structured, efficient capabilities for recurring data analysis and provisioning while keeping systems, code, and documentation inspection-ready.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis, statistical modelling, and transforming complex datasets into business insights.
- Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience developing and applying deep learning models.
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation, analysis, visualisation, and large-scale data extraction.
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques including clustering, decision trees, neural networks, regression, hypothesis testing, probability distributions, and experimental design.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to cross-functional teams.
Nice to have
- Experience with R.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, or similar cloud and data platforms.
- Exposure to clinical data, clinical trials, or the pharmaceutical industry.
