Senior Data Scientist (AI)

Location: London TVC, United Kingdom; 2 days a week in the office

Salary: £60,000–£65,000 per year plus a London Weighting Allowance of £5,441

What you will do

• Deliver data science projects across hirify.global Studios’ lines of business, including commercial news and TV commissioning.
• Build automated decision-making solutions, synthetic audiences, metadata tagging, discoverability, and recommendation capabilities.
• Select appropriate algorithms and data sources to solve business problems.
• Develop and implement solutions from proof of concept through production.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and communicate insights, impact, and recommendations.
• Monitor developments in generative AI and apply relevant approaches.

Requirements

• Experience in data science or a closely aligned role.
• Degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or a related field.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Good working knowledge of SQL and experience querying large datasets.
• Experience building machine learning models and deploying them to production.
• Experience translating business problems into practical solutions and working with stakeholders.
