Senior Product Designer (AI)

Location: Remote within Europe, preferably Western or continental Europe; relocation to Lisbon is possible. In-person meetups take place three times a year.

What you will do

• Shape the new design language and brand, including the design system, rebrand, and new mobile app.
• Own the full design process from ambiguous problem framing to polished, shipped solutions.
• Drive the consumer experience across onboarding, social features, retention, and the learning loop.
• Collaborate closely with engineering and product management to polish the implementation rather than handing off designs.
• Bring independent initiatives, challenge existing direction, and raise the craft standard across the design team.

Requirements

• Strong product design craft with polished, intentional visual work and a clear point of view.
• Experience shipping consumer products that people choose to use, with an understanding of product metrics.
• Ability to frame ambiguous problems, simplify them, and communicate decisions through strong storytelling.
• Confidence defending design principles, taking initiative, and working closely with engineering.
• Fluent written and spoken English required.

Nice to have

• Specialty in prototyping, illustration, animation, or motion.
• Experience with social or viral product mechanics.
• Background at consumer companies such as Spotify or Strava.
• Early-stage or founding designer experience.
• Comfort working with code to prototype or polish front-end implementation.
