Staff Product Designer (AI)

Location: Europe remote or London hybrid; hubs are available in London, Copenhagen, Munich, and Zurich. Work from anywhere in the world is permitted for up to 60 days per year.

What you will do

• Own the evolution of the AI Playground from a single-format surface into a scalable creation hub for video, images, and motion graphics.
• Set design direction for discovery, experimentation, and iteration across multiple media formats.
• Design prompt experiences and workflows that make complex AI capabilities accessible while preserving user control.
• Shape the handoff between Playground creation and Studio editing, and influence adjacent product areas such as Studio and Media Library.
• Partner with Product and Engineering leaders to define principles, quality standards, metrics, and roadmap priorities.
• Prototype and test interaction models while raising the craft bar for AI-assisted creation.

Requirements

• Significant experience designing creation tools or generative-media platforms where users explore, iterate, and refine outputs quickly.
• Strong interaction and visual design craft, with a track record of shipping experiences around complex workflows.
• Deep comfort designing user experiences around AI model constraints.
• Systems thinking and experience designing multi-format products that scale beyond an initial focused surface.
• Excellent communication skills for design reviews and cross-functional product tradeoffs.
• Ability to work remotely from Europe or in a hybrid setup based in London.
