Strategy Analyst

Location: Sofia, Bulgaria; hybrid remote/in-office

What you will do

• Conduct market and competitive research covering market size and growth, client and industry trends, regulations, competitors, and competitive dynamics.
• Analyze commercial performance, including pipeline performance, win/loss trends, and other business metrics.
• Support the development and refresh of ESS's five-year strategic plan by coordinating inputs across business, functional, and regional stakeholders.
• Create executive presentations, dashboards, visualizations, and analytical materials for internal and external stakeholders.
• Build and maintain structured market, competitor, and client intelligence resources.
• Support strategic projects by structuring problems, synthesizing stakeholder input, developing recommendations, and tracking actions.

Requirements

• Strong analytical and modelling skills, including advanced Excel capabilities.
• Ability to work with large or imperfect datasets, identify trends, and develop market-sizing and other analytical models.
• Ability to turn complex analysis into clear, concise, and visually compelling presentations for senior stakeholders.
• Relevant experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, market intelligence, commercial strategy, or a similar role.
• Experience with market assessment, competitive analysis, or strategic planning.
