Mass Properties Engineer (Military Derivatives)

Location: Getafe Area, Madrid, Spain. Hybrid working model when possible.

What you will do

• Support the development of new military vehicles and derivatives, in-service operations, and decommissioning activities.
• Define mass status, target mass, and routes to target across the vehicle life cycle.
• Perform mass estimations, calculations, accounting, weight control, and validation through weighing.
• Develop mass models for loads analyses and contribute to vehicle-level optimization.
• Perform trade studies, benchmarking, competitor analyses, and mass risk and opportunity tracking.
• Support design reviews, chief engineering and program decisions, customer guarantees, vehicle deliveries, and capability development.

Requirements

• Degree in Aeronautical Engineering.
• 0–5 years of professional experience; Flight Physics, Structural Design, or Mass Properties experience is valuable.
• Advanced English required.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and autonomously.
• Interest in engineering domains and aircraft-level technical topics.
• Ability to work in a transnational team between Spain and Germany.

Nice to have

• German language skills.
• Experience with Flight Physics, Structural Design, or Mass Properties.
