Airworthiness & Certification Engineer (Military Derivatives)

Location: Getafe Area, Spain; hybrid working model when possible.

What you will do

• Define the aircraft certification basis and certification strategy in alignment with aircraft design and operations.
• Negotiate and agree on certification and airworthiness approaches with European and national airworthiness authorities.
• Coordinate internal engineering, program, chief engineering, design office, and external supplier stakeholders.
• Manage certification activities, certification plans, means of compliance demonstrations, and delivery milestones.
• Support the integration of military systems and equipment into civil derivative aircraft and establish an appropriate certification framework.
• Define and approve continued-airworthiness documentation, including manuals, operational suitability data, ICA requirements, ALS, AMM, troubleshooting manuals, and IPCs.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of engineering experience.
• Industrial, aerospace, or similar engineering degree.
• Technical background in aerospace disciplines such as systems, structures, flight physics, or flight control.
• Good understanding of aircraft technical domains and airworthiness regulations.
• Good English level; Spanish and French are advantageous.
• Security clearance is required, or eligibility for clearance from recognized authorities.
