Manufacturing Operator (Pharmaceutical Manufacturing)

Location: Leiden, South Holland, Netherlands; onsite work on a shift roster

Base pay: €35,000–€53,360 per year

What you will do

• Execute routine pharmaceutical manufacturing tasks under direct supervision and meet Operations production targets.
• Follow standard operating procedures, standardized work instructions, and activity flowcharts.
• Support the processing of ingredients and pharmaceutical products in accordance with internal procedures.
• Document daily activities, resources, target-versus-actual gaps, and operational concerns.
• Escalate issues to leaders and support accurate, timely, and high-quality deliverables.
• Learn and apply process improvement methods to enhance safety, quality, reliability, cost, and scheduling.

Requirements

• Relevant MBO-2 degree with at least 18 months of relevant experience, or a non-relevant MBO-2 degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• B1 proficiency in Dutch or English is required.
• Basic MS Office proficiency and entry-level proficiency with business applications.
• Quality-oriented, precise, flexible, and positive approach.
• Ability to work on a shift roster.

Nice to have

• Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices, manufacturing operations, process optimization, gap analysis, regulatory compliance, or operational excellence.
• Administrative support, data compilation, analytics dashboards, or project administration experience.
