Senior Embedded Software Engineer

What you will do

• Architect, implement, and harden embedded applications, device drivers, and board support packages in C and Rust.
• Optimize compute-intensive algorithms with CUDA on embedded or edge-class GPUs.
• Bring up new ARM-based boards, including bootloaders, secure boot chains, peripheral initialization, and diagnostics.
• Implement and validate cryptographic protection using TPMs, including secure processing paths, key management, and security-critical code.
• Integrate sensors, communications links, and high-rate data paths while tuning latency and throughput.
• Develop automated hardware-in-the-loop tests, telemetry instrumentation, provisioning scripts, and regression suites; debug systems with hardware analysis tools.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in C and production Rust, including unsafe-code discipline and ownership semantics.
• Hands-on CUDA development with embedded or edge-class GPUs such as Jetson.
• Experience with ARM-based SoCs, memory-mapped I/O, DMA, interrupts, and IPC.
• Experience with secure boot, cryptography libraries, key management, or comparable security-critical software.
• Comfort with Linux internals, cross-compilers, build systems, Git/GitHub workflows, CI/CD, and hardware debugging tools.
• Access to export-controlled information may require applicable U.S. Government authorization, security clearance, citizenship, or other eligibility requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience with Zephyr, FreeRTOS, or seL4.
• Knowledge of DSP, real-time networking, or RF signal chains.
• Experience with Azure or other cloud services for telemetry ingestion.
