Location: Lisburn, United Kingdom. The role requires frequent travel, primarily within the UK and Europe, including customer sites, offices, workshops, training events, conferences, and other business locations. Expect approximately 2–4 trips per month during the first six months, followed by approximately one trip per month.

What you will do
- Develop customer insight by researching needs, use cases, operating environments, market trends, competitors, and relevant technologies.
- Maintain short- and medium-term product roadmaps and define problem statements, business cases, and priorities.
- Analyse revenue, adoption, margin, BOM structure, unit cost, supply constraints, and other product performance factors.
- Translate customer problems into requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for hardware and embedded software solutions.
- Coordinate with engineering, operations, quality, supply chain, sales, marketing, and support teams to deliver product improvements and launches.
- Support release readiness, validation, certification, field trials, customer engagement, and risk management.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in product management or systems engineering involving hardware and embedded software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional engineering, operations, and supply chain teams.
- Ability to analyse product performance, customer needs, business cases, risks, dependencies, and constraints.
- Willingness to travel regularly within the UK and Europe and occasionally to other countries with active customer installations.
Nice to have
- Exposure to or interest in power engineering and low-voltage networks.
- Experience in system monitoring, cable diagnostics, or test and measurement.
