Loan Closing Associate (Financial Markets)

Location: Hong Kong, Hong Kong; hybrid work with a minimum expectation of 3 days per week in the office and 2 days from home. A valid Hong Kong working permit is mandatory.

What you will do

• Support the end-to-end trade lifecycle across multiple asset classes, including trade capture, confirmation, settlement, reconciliation, and position management.
• Coordinate transaction execution and closing activities with investment professionals, internal stakeholders, and external counterparties.
• Ensure trade economics, cash flows, and lifecycle events are accurately recorded in operational systems.
• Investigate and resolve trade exceptions, breaks, and operational issues.
• Support new products, systems implementation, testing, change management, and process improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to operational risk management through controls, documentation, governance, and scalable operating solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of operational processes within financial markets and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting trade lifecycle operations within a financial services organization, including trade capture, confirmations, settlements, and reconciliations.
• Ability to collaborate across investment, finance, legal, risk, technology, and external counterparty functions.
• Valid Hong Kong working permit required.
• Availability for a 6-month fixed-term contract and hybrid office attendance of at least 3 days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with alternative investments, private markets, private credit, or complex financial products.
• Knowledge of derivatives, loans, equities, fixed income securities, real assets, or alternative investments.
• Experience with trade capture, booking, risk management, portfolio management, or operational change platforms.
