TL;DR

Associate, Structured Trade, Global Transaction Banking, Asia Pacific (Structured Trade Finance): Supporting the origination, structuring, execution, and management of working capital and trade finance solutions for global corporates across commodities, industrials, and the AI and data centre value chain with an accent on inventory finance, borrowing bases, prepayments, and supply chain flows into Asia. Focus on analysing working capital requirements, preparing credit and profitability assessments, coordinating cross-functional transaction execution, and developing tailored cross-border financing solutions.

What you will do

Support the origination, structuring, execution, and ongoing management of Structured Trade transactions across Asia Pacific.
Prepare client presentations, transaction structures, financial analyses, credit applications, and profitability assessments.
Analyse working capital requirements and trade flows to develop tailored financing solutions.
Coordinate with Coverage, Corporate Banking, Risk, Legal, Operations, and other stakeholders to execute transactions and manage portfolios.
Monitor transaction pipelines, facility utilisation, reviews, and existing portfolio activities.
Collaborate with regional and global teams on cross-border transactions, product development, process enhancements, and Global Transaction Banking initiatives.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher.
3–5 years of experience with an international bank in Structured Trade or Structured Commodity Finance, or with a major law firm in Banking & Finance.
Working knowledge of banking and finance law, regulatory and compliance concepts, and financing transaction documentation.
Ability to apply legal knowledge to resolve structuring challenges and remove documentation bottlenecks.
Fluent spoken and written English and Mandarin Chinese required.
Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, with strong analytical, presentation, and attention-to-detail capabilities.

Nice to have

Spanish or Portuguese language skills.
