Senior Adobe Commerce Developer (Magento)

Location: Hybrid role in Manila, Philippines, with office attendance twice a week at BGC Taguig

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, maintain, and support Adobe Commerce and Magento solutions for enterprise B2B and B2C platforms.
• Build custom modules, themes, APIs, plugins, observers, scheduled jobs, and third-party integrations.
• Integrate commerce platforms with ERP, CRM, product information, order management, payment, shipping, tax, search, identity, and marketing systems.
• Work with REST and GraphQL APIs and contribute to headless or composable storefront implementations.
• Investigate application, integration, performance, and production issues through troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Contribute to technical design, estimation, code reviews, testing, deployments, documentation, mentoring, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of software development experience, including 3 or more years of hands-on Adobe Commerce or Magento development.
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Commerce architecture, including modules, dependency injection, plugins, observers, events, indexing, caching, queues, cron, and configuration management.
• Strong PHP, object-oriented design, Composer, MySQL or MariaDB, and Linux skills.
• Experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, asynchronous processing, webhooks, automated testing, Git, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with frontend development using layouts, templates, JavaScript, Knockout.js, RequireJS, HTML, CSS, and responsive design.
• Ability to communicate effectively with architects, developers, QA, DevOps, project managers, and client stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Adobe Commerce Professional or Expert certification and Adobe Commerce Cloud experience.
• Experience with upgrades, security patching, data migration, Fastly, New Relic, and deployment pipelines.
• Experience with headless commerce, PWA Studio, React, Next.js, Vue, or composable storefronts.
• Familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager, enterprise search platforms, cloud services, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• Experience with retail, loyalty, subscription, marketplace, or omnichannel commerce solutions.
