TL;DR
Quadient Software Engineer (Quadient Inspire Flex/Java): Building secure, reliable and compliant banking document output solutions across digital and physical channels with an accent on template engineering, data integration and document lifecycle management. Focus on developing Java services, validating multilingual document rendering, automating testing, and operating highly available solutions for regulated financial environments.

What you will do
- Design, develop and maintain scalable, secure output management solutions for banking documents.
- Create and maintain multilingual document templates and reusable components with Quadient Inspire Flex.
- Develop Java services, extensions and integrations connecting banking applications, data sources and distribution channels.
- Manage the full document lifecycle, including versioning, testing, deployment, monitoring, maintenance and retirement.
- Implement unit, integration, regression and output-comparison testing for business rules, data accuracy, rendering quality and performance.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, analysts, operations teams and support teams on technical designs and incident resolution.
Requirements
- Professional experience with Quadient Inspire Flex, including Inspire Designer, templates, reusable components, styles, business rules, data mapping, multilingual content and output validation.
- Experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, XML, JSON, SQL and automated unit and integration testing.
- Knowledge of Git, Bitbucket, Maven or Gradle, CI/CD, code reviews, debugging, dependency management, secure coding and technical documentation.
- Experience with containerised applications, Docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift, JMS, relational databases and cloud-native operations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with attention to accuracy, auditability, security and data protection in banking documents.
- Fluent English required, with the ability to collaborate across engineering, product, architecture, analysis and operations functions.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of the Banking Suite and Core output processes.
- Experience with GitHub Copilot or comparable AI-assisted development tools.
