Developer Support Engineer (DevOps)

Location: Atlanta, US; hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote

Base salary: $90,000–$95,000 per year, depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot and investigate complex customer CI/CD scenarios and provide technical solutions.
• Develop Bash, Python, and Groovy scripts for debugging and automation.
• Set up hirify.global applications and third-party products across development environments.
• Analyze log files, thread dumps, HTTP traffic, JVM parameters, and operating system parameters.
• Reproduce customer scenarios, document bugs and feature requests, and maintain the knowledge base.
• Collaborate with R&D, QA, Release, and Sales teams on customer issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of customer-facing experience and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to manage complex, escalated cases across multiple architectures and platforms.
• Mandatory experience with Linux and strong software debugging skills.
• Mandatory understanding of Java or another compiled language.
• Ability to work flexible hours and weekends when needed.

Nice to have

• Experience with databases, LDAP, Apache HTTP Server, or Apache Tomcat.
• Experience with networking and reverse proxies such as nginx or httpd.
• DevOps industry experience.
• Spanish-speaking skills.
