Senior Engineer, Manufacturing Equipment Engineering (Sputter Media)

What you will do

• Lead day-to-day equipment sustaining, troubleshooting, failure analysis, and resolution of production issues.
• Improve equipment reliability, uptime, operational stability, and maintenance efficiency.
• Develop and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions for major equipment failures.
• Support equipment upgrades, hardware modifications, machine conversions, installation, commissioning, qualification, and acceptance.
• Collaborate with Process Engineering, Yield Engineering, Production, Quality, OEM vendors, and suppliers on equipment, automation, productivity, and technology improvement projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Materials Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5–8 years of equipment engineering experience in semiconductor, sputter media, vacuum coating, or advanced manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of vacuum systems, sputtering equipment, thin-film deposition, and manufacturing equipment control systems.
• Experience with equipment troubleshooting, reliability improvement, technical investigations, and manufacturing support.
• Experience with PLC systems, automation controls, equipment interfaces, Statistical Process Control, and equipment data analysis.
• Strong analytical, communication, documentation, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in sputter media or semiconductor manufacturing.
• Knowledge of high-vacuum technology, plasma processes, or thin-film deposition systems.
• Experience with equipment automation and control interfaces.
