Senior Associate, PX, GWE, Asset Lifecycle Management Lead

Location: United States - Connecticut - Groton; on-premise

Annual base salary: $88,500–$147,500, plus eligibility for a 10% bonus target.

Global Operations supports research and development laboratory operations through equipment lifecycle management, maintenance systems, and site services.

What you will do

• Manage the full lifecycle of laboratory assets from customer request and acquisition through installation, maintenance, transfer, decontamination, and disposal.
• Issue and track EAMS asset identifiers and document maintenance and service activities in EAMS/CMMS.
• Coordinate vendors and contractor resources for asset installation, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and logistical services.
• Maintain inactive and idle asset inventories, including compliant storage, auction sale, and site transfer.
• Represent the site in GWE communities of practice and cross-site teams to develop common asset management standards.
• Provide reporting and data analytics to reduce operating costs and improve return on capital investment.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States by any employer and have permanent U.S. work authorization.
• U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
• Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of experience, master’s degree with more than 0 years of experience, associate’s degree with 6 years of experience, or high school diploma with 8 years of relevant experience.
• At least 3 years of experience servicing and maintaining analytical instrumentation in an R&D laboratory environment.
• Experience with vendor management, asset installation, maintenance or inventory systems, and laboratory equipment.
• Experience with cross-functional collaboration, project management, Windows, databases, and Microsoft Office.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, technology, or a related field.
• Knowledge of capitalization, accounting processes, fixed asset registries, depreciation, and asset lifecycle principles.
• Experience with hirify.global’s EAMS computerized maintenance management system.
